- Have you ever wondered how software can be produced securely while benefiting from flexible development processes like Scrum or other Agile methods?
- Have you ever had problems including security-critical activities into an iterative and incremental process model?
Finnish Information Security Association (FISA) and Agile Finland are organizing an event on April 6th (Tuesday) to discuss these and many other issues related to this two key issues in the software industry today. The event will take place at Nokia’s premises at Itämerenkatu 11-13 from 18 to around 21.
The event will begin with position statements from Antti Vaha-Sipilä and Camillo Särs, followed by workgroup discussions addressing the questions arising from the initial presentations. The results of the discussion groups will be collected and later shared to a wider audience.
Note: the event’s presentations and workshops will be in English.
We would like to invite a limited group of people from both communities to come and listen to the debate and then participate in a group discussions/workshop where we will work on the questions raised by the presenters.
The space is limited. We aim to have a balanced mix of people from both the security and agile spheres. Please register for the event through FISA if you feel you are more of the security type, and through Agile Finland if you feel you belong more in the agile crowd. If you do both, feel free to pick one or the other.
Presenting and facilititating this event we will have two experts in the area of security within the software development industry:
Antti Vaha-Sipilä is Product Security Manager at Nokia, having worked for several years with software security for mobile devices and introducing security and privacy aspects in the software development lifecycle.
Camillo Särs is the Information Security Manager at F-Secure, and has worked with software security engineering within F-Secure for over 10 years. He holds a M.Sc. in software systems and network security from HUT. |
